Sulzer Mixers are used for a wide range of mixing processes in the Chemical Process industry. Applications range from mixing of liquids at various viscosities; mixing including reaction, gas liquid contacting/ mass transfer and absorption, gas mixing and liquid evaporation. The mixers are available in a wide range of materials of construction.
The Sulzer type SMF Static Mixer has been especially developed for mixing/blending product streams that contain solid materials as thick and viscous as sludge, e.g. materials or simply liquids that contain solids in the form of suspended particles, fibers, flakes or granules.
The new Sulzer Contour™ gas mixer is mainly used for flue gas treatment applications such as DeNOx and DeSOx, but also in other gas treatment applications
